We took this image in hope that we would create good texture.  I beleve that we have managed to do this.

Good Examples of Pictures (Examples)

This image shows good colours because there is a contrat in the background colour of black, and the foreground colour of blue, red, orange, pink and yellow.






The way this is done is by using macro focus, this gives a really tight focus, when this is done you can see all the texture of the subject, in this case the blade of grass.  you can see all the bumps in this image.  For that reason I believe that this image shows good texture.







This image shows good pattern because the image repeats the word 'hello'.

This image shows good lines because it has perspective.  this effect is achieved because of the lines at the top right, bottom and top left.

Professional Photographs (Examples)

Johannes Dagemark jumps off a 150 meter high wind turbine in Sweden.  BASE jumpers such as Johannes Dagemark usually jump off fixed objects.  These jumpers use specially adapted parachutes to slow their decent.  I find this picture fascinating because of the staging of the picture.

The lady in this picture was married to her husband Luigi for over 40 years.  At the age of 65, Luigi began to show symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.  For six years, this lady cared for Luigi herself, at this home in Rome.  I like this picture because I like the way that the photographer has edited this photo so that it is light around the lady but dark around the edge.

In April, the oil-drilling rig, in the Gulf of Mexico off the Louisiana coast, sunk after an explosion.  this image was taken of the Crude oil that has formed a pool in the Gulf of Mexico.  I like this picture because it is extremely close to the subject and it shows lots of detail.  I also like the way the image has been taken so that it shows both the water and the oil.

This image is of the lava lake of Mount Nyiragongo, in the Virunga National Parkbubbles at the bottom of the volcano.  I like this picture because it has been taken in a beautiful location and shows lots of detail.

This was taken at a seabird breeding ground Malgas Island, South Africa.  A Cape gannet comes in to land during the summer season.  The reason I like this picture is because of the way the seabird is centered directly in the middle of the image, this doesn't usually work but i think that it does in this image.
