Wide Angle and Close up

The image above is a wide angle shot, I have tried to make this image so that it complies with the rule of thirds.  In this image I have been able to get all four features (colours, lines, pattern and texture).  The colours are all over the building, The blues and the creams all blend well with the grey of the sky.  The lines in this image show the perspective, these lines are located on the top and the bottom of the fence, this is subtle but it shows a lot.  The patterns on this image are found in the wall, you cannot see them in this size picture, but when it is larger, you can see it much better.

The image above is a close up shot, I thought about making this image so that it complies with the rule of thirds, but when doing a close up, it is very difficult.  In this image I have been able to get all four features (colours, lines, pattern and texture).  The colours are all everywhere on the basket ball, and because it is a close up, you can see the texture very well.  The black and red of the basket ball show that there is a definite line between the foreground, and the background.  There are no lines in this image but in order to show the perspective I have a tight focus on the ball, and i have blurred the background out.  this gives it perspective, without lines.
